Hi Kegs, Heaps of
places to
camp
Not certain if you mean caravan parks or camping grounds si I will do both.
Minnie Water CP.. council run is s nice park. fishing in a protected bay like harbour under
Minnie Water headland. scenery to die for.
Illaroo camp grounds run by National Park about 2 km from village of
Minnie Water proper on a long scollop beach that runs up to Sandon headland see the other post.
Sandon is good but better to go to it from the
Brooms head side. There is a caravan park at Sandon on the north side of the sandon river. Whilst you can tackle
the beach from Minnie to Sandon on a falling tide with low tyre pressure in a normal car the climb off
the beach into Sandon is loose and fine.
Diggers Headland is another coastal nice
camp ground in Yuragir between
Minnie Water and
Wooli.
At
Wooli there is a Council run caravan park and a nice ly refurbished private one called Solitary Island something. The park has river frontage at its rear. Fishing in the river behind
Wooli is good some good muddies too and from a kyak would be perfect. You can
camp on the southern side of the
Wooli river if you ferry your stuff across in the kayak.
Good camping at
Red Rock and
Arrawarra too.
regards
SKI'er

Concur with all of those.
We have camped at
Minnie Water a number of times and love it.
My parents recently stayed at the refurbished park at
Wooli (I think its just Solitary Island resort ??) and thought it was very nice. Especially being righ on the river should give easy access for Canoe fishing

Redcliff/
Lake Arragan, just North of
Brooms Head.
Station Creek, North of Red Rock/Corindi. Beautiful, but loads of sandflies when there last Sept.

We have camped at the caravan park at
Emerald Beach just North of Coffs. Outstadning caravan park especially if you have kids. Right on
the beach and excellent amenities.
