Hi Guys, yes love the site just gets better and better just one thing since you've "altered" the start up on the
forum {pics etc} have to say it's now much harder to crank up {takes longer} is it as I'm on dialup ? anyone else get this prob ?
regards,
Dave

Good on yer Dave,
We just came back after a month away and it had all changed.
We are also on dial up at
home and what we can get on our travels. We find it takes far longer to get the site up and running. The picture ($ track on a causeway) seems to be the same each time and in my opinion unnecessary.
Similarly when I get to the bottom of page 1, I used to hit the #2
sign and page 2 was there almost immediately... not any more.
If it takes longer to communicate with people on the
forum then the new bells and whilstles are not helping me.

I set my browser
home page to load up the
Forum index page rather than the EO main page. One less page load to do.

Thanks Skier, was a wee bit scared I might get stick for saying so , but how else can the EO team know unless you say ? last time I mentoined a similar prob' I got "oh theres always one whinger" which does nothing to solve the problem and discourages you from commenting again, if I could afford to be on broadband I would but on a pension everything has a budget, anyhow thanks for the backup,
best wishes,
Davo

Davo have u shopped around for comparisons on Broadband as I had a mate in
Toowoomba who was paying the same as us for dial up when we had been on broadband for yonks. I agree if we don't speak up then how does info get back to the suppliers of the service. Great site with so much to offer.

As I live near
Toowoomba I'd be very interested in that broadband supplier. Could you please advise.
Thanks, Geoff

Broadband is very affordable today. When making comparisons make sure you add up the costs of the calls you make when connecting on dial up.....including all the re-dials when you get booted off.
