Walks with Dogs Melbourne

Thanks Malcom, I have followed your instructions however am unable to find a link in the results that connects to Codes of Practice. Are you able to paste the link into a response for me.
I noted that a lot of the results did refer to wild dogs, prest species etc. Our dog is ALWAYS on a lead when we travel/walk/camp.

Try also www.parkweb.vic.gov.au go to the search button type in "dogs" with a tick on Parks and Venues hit search and scroll down each park site individually and you'll see which ones allow dogs.
I rang them myself and spoke to them and they sent me (unofficially) a list of parks that I could camp with the dog. The list had not been made up at that stage it might be now though.
I found them very helpful.

Thank you for your help Malcom. It's is much appreciated. We have taken her camping to State Forests etc before (which is where we learnt to keep her on a lead when out of the tent - a Jack Russell loves 'exploring' everything that rustles and moves).

Hi Dave, I don't mind not being able to take our Dog into a national park as I can appreciate the reasons why. I am trying to find other places we can go for day trips and take her with us so we don't leave her home alone so often - both working full time we need to give her some attention (and exercise) over the weekends. I swear, it's almost as bad as having kids...

And yes, in many cases it is the small minority that spoils it for everyone but I can't change it and I doubt anybody case. Human nature is a very diverse thing. Just got to accept it and enjoy.

Thats it Dave the ferals wreck it for everyone,i'm not a dog lover but dont mind them when they dont constantly bark,bite,dry root people,jump and lick and bleep over everything !

Warfer69: spend a little time with a dog and you'll find it gives you love without condition - that they don't adhere to your social requirements is more your issue than their's.
