Welcome Sonny
Yengo is an easy trip.
We even left the Cruiser at
home a couple of years ago and took the SWMBO's Mazda Tribute. No problems at all. Nice scenery and plenty to see.
Enjoy

Mate the last time i was up there 6mths ago, i nearly run into a guy in a xr6 falcon
sedan, !!, he was silly, but just a dirt road, really no probs, You can go right through to the
putty road, but there is one
gate that is locked or open at any stage!
Have a good time
Cheers Axle.

Hi Sonny,
Yengo is fairly easy but if you take the Simpson track, it is a bit more exciting. Have done the trip in my old Pajero NM and current Prado 120. Kids (if you have any) will enjoy devils
rock and
the rock engravings. You may need low gear or just take it slowly. You can get the directions from the
Treks section of ExplorOz. After Yengo, try
Wollemi National Park. There are more challenging tracks there.
Enjoy.
