I was hoping to benefit from the vast experience and knowledge of fellow members.
We are waiting the delivery of our off-road camper trailer, and until recently have done the long weekend/school holiday camping - not too far away/not too adventurous/in a Jayco on-road Hawk.
We are interested in finding a group to share camping experiences with - perhaps a bit more adventurous now - and I was wondering whether a 4WD club would be the way to go. We're not into extreme off-roading, just enjoying the countryside, sharing a campfire and good company.
From what I have seen while trawling through lots of websites, I feel that although we would love to learn more about travelling in remote areas, and participate in trips, are 4WD clubs too extreme for us?
I would welcome any comments and advice, and if anyone has suggestions for clubs in the
Melbourne area, they would be very welcome.
Cheers All.

I joined the Pajero Club a couple of years ago for similar reasons. You don't need a pajero to be a member. They offer 4WD training and quite a few trips to choose from.
The monthly meetings are a bit boring, they do try to spice them up with guest speakers.
