I recently had some repairs carried out on my Pioneer Argyle SE camper trailer. The main issue was a tear in the canvas. The way it happened could have been contentious and accepting the repair under warranty could have been arguable.

However, I am pleased to say that the damage was repaired at no cost to me and we had a constructive discussion as to how the particular problem could be eliminated in the future.

So no complaints from me.

Good on you. Always good to hear positive stories where the manufacturers look after the consumer. Particularly in todays time where bad publicity spreads more readily than the good stuff.

Hi GB

The tear wasn't where the bungy cord keep the canvas away fom the where poles are hinged was it? As a new owner of an Argyle SE I would be interested to know.

Regards

Good news!
This sort of response from a manufacturer goes a long way to bolstering buyer loyalty, and encouraging others to buy from that mfr.
Unlike the treatment one gets at times from some vehicle manufacturers, who will knock back warranty claims because of some obscure fine print or sleazy side-stepping.

I also had a very small tear in the canvas on my Pioneer SE which was caused by a sharp edge on the corner where you pull the canvas over .I smoothed the edge off and told them about it and they were very helpfull and gave me a piece of the same material to put a little patch.Other than that I am very happy with the camper and it will be going with me across the top leaving in 2 weeks time.
