Just got some 16" alloy mags (Speedy i think..) off a mate really cheap to use as 2 spares for the 80 series Landcruiser and 2 wheels for the Camper Trailer before we venture off around Oz in a couple of months.
Would these mags be strong enough to put on the Landcruiser instead of the current Landcruiser steel rims. Main reason is that they are such a nice set of mags that seems a waste to just use 2 of them on the camper trailer ??????
Cheers in advance

I suppose it comes down to what you are using them for... light off roading should be fine for any mag... I don't know any specifics for the particular ones you have there though..
Having said that the GXL steel rims are pretty bullet proof... If you don't want them feel free to post them over to Qld for me...(but only if they are the 16 x 8's lol) I have 3 tyres in the back yard and no rims for them.. :)
Cheers

If they are quality rims they should have thier ratings stamped into the inside of the rim. You should use only rims weight and speed rated for the cruiser or you may invalidate any insurance claims.
You see a lot of utes around with flashy mags that are primarily for cars of the same model and are not rated high enuf for a loaded ute. They are fine till something goes wrong and it usually will at the worst possible time.
Best to
check and be legal
