Hi Folks,
Its been a while since I had the opportunity to get back behind the keyboard. To all those who sent congrats messages on the birth of our son Jack thanks for your comments. We are happy with the little ratbag especially as he has all his fingers and toes and all the bits work as advertised.
It has been several months since there was a spurt of threads concerning the rooftop tents for sale on Ebay. Now that I am not working overseas I need to be more careful with my coins and so am seeking best value for money.
Can anyone who purchased one please provide positive or negative feedback as I am considering mounting two side by side on top of my trailer.
Cheers ... Taz

My sister in law bought one, I'll have to find out the detals of the seller.
They paid good coin for it, it was described as brand new. When they got it, it had been opened, it was dusty, it was a different colour canvas than described and the zips don't work properly.
The seller has not been very accomidating and they are trying to take it further with him. So I would be careful.

Hi Taz,
We purchased one for a trip across Madigans line. It was defintely brand new, still has the film over the base now. Used it twice so far and found it very comfy. It did have a couple of things that needed changing when we got it, the ladder brackets were in the tubes backwards (20mins to fix) and the cover needed reinforcing where it stretches over the ladder, other than that no probs.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago for $1071 delivery included. Ladder was damaged but functional, possibly in transit as it was in a separate package. Base was scored in a spot but just cosmetic. Definitely brand new.
Seems quite comfy. Have to get used to climbing the ladder and trusting its support still. Haven't used it yet, going to weekend after next.
Will be taking it across the Simpson and Canning in August.

Hi Taz - I don't think my son has used his yet, but he was happy with it when it arrived. He thought the quality was comparable with some of the brands available locally. It is really quite roomy, and he is going to mount his on top of an aluminium canopy he is making for the Patrol Ute. The eBay vendor he purchased from does not have any listed now.
