Hi Folks,
Sad news. Was recently up at Bunderberg with the intention of buying a property in
Bargara.
Tried to book ahead to stay at the Absolute Beach Front CP on Woongara Scenic Drive. Had no problem, wondered why it is a great location. Whilst there for 3 days found out why. They have stopped year to year "winter sun" bookings.
Whilst out with the Richardson & Wrench,
Bargara salespeople llooking for the house, learned why. CP it was up for sale for 5.5 million. I wish
Still monitoring the estate agents sites whenConfirmation of the for sale popped up yesterday. POA but re-read last para... 1.4 acres of ocean frontage.
IMHO it won't last long (600sq metres vacant blocks on the ocean side of the drive are selling for $8-900,000). When it sells I bet it won't stay as a caravan park. We did some numbers whilst we were there... with every cabin full (they weren't) and every caravan site taken they would be lucky to gross $1200 a day
Regards
SKI'er

We holidayed at
Bargara about a month ago , very nice place lot's of building going on.
A lot of the shore line has Black volcanic type boulders all the way along but a couple of nice beaches.
Nice

Bargara

We stayed at DonPancho Resort right on
the Beach nice location but the place is a bit tired.
