HI All,
My Old Man has just purchased a 2004 Toyota Prado, 3.0 Turbo Diesel.
I just want some
feedback from people who have Prados around this model, info like any warranty repairs that have been done, anything to keep an eye on, etc.
I am a Nissan Man myself, so any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi arrano
Things to look for.
Cracks under second battery tray.
Cracks in the inner guards and near the fire wall.
Deteriorated steering wheel leather.
Rear diff replacements.
Dust ingress through the back. Most of this comes in through the vents which are located under the rear bumper bars on the sides. Block them up and presto.
Tail shafts require greasing in the slip joints. A clunk as you stop can be heard if they play up.
Try www.lcool.org and the other mentioned web site for better info.
