Tony

In your post 38822 you reported diesel leaking inside your LC 100 somewhere behind the glovebox and onto the passengers foot.

I have the same problem and have spent $200 so far to find the source of the problem ,with no success.

Could you please advise how you fixed your problem.

Many thanks, Dalb
Cheers, Dalb

Dalb I think it was something to do with a vacuum hose coming off a switch or solonoid on the pump. The hose runs up towards the firewall somewhere.
I would look at the fuel pump and follow any hoses to their originating position. The one that goes towards the dash will be the switch that is leaking.
I have a 1hz fuel pump here but its no good for following the hoses as it is sitting on my bench and I haven't got the car.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Scott,

I will followup, but it looks like I may have to go to Mr Toyota - something I have been trying to avoid due to wealth hazard.

What happens is a switch on the pump leaks & diesel works it way up the wiring loom inside the insulation & leaks into the ecu behind the glovebox area & than runs out on to the carpet

There is no expernal sign of the diesel leaking as it is inside the wire

If your vehicle is not to far out of warranty i would contact your dealer & see if toyota may assist in the repair costs
