does the gu 2000 have a warning buzzer when brake pads are low, as in when you put your foot on brake peddle it sounds a buzzer.

Have a look at the brake pads - do they have a wire attached to them? I used to own a Peugeot 504 and it had brake pad sensors which consisted of a wire inserted into the pad. The pad wore down to the wire which then contacted the rotor and turned on a light on the dash.

Cheers
John

Hi Slush

I am getting reply's on the other Prodigy thread.

Most pads have a metal tab 'tell-tale' it touches the disc when the pads are low and cause a high pitch screech. I would say this is what you hear. You will have about 2mm of pad or 2000 km left.

Regards

Derek.
