Has anyone been to Prominent Pillar lately?
It is the other side of the Ghan track to
Chambers Pillar.
If so any comments about track conditions etc.

It is on Maryvale Station and I doubt if you would get permission to go there. We tried to get permission for some others tracks on the station a couple of years ago and they declined our request.

I would ask anyway.
We were up that way in 2003 and could have travelled across the station with an escort for a small fee, less than we spent on fuel to go around. A local in the bar at
Erldunda gave me the contact details. Sorry I haven't got them handy, actually I may not have them at all.
