Just wondering what economy people are getting from their new turbo v8 diesel cruiser utes. My cousin bout one recently and is so far averaging approx 380km from the 90 litre
tank,
well below what toyota are advertising, admitedly it is still low km's but seems very high fuel use all the same.

Geez- thats about 23l/100k !!
Even the ole 75 is getting high 10s- low 11s l/100k !!

Something wrong there. I'm on my first
tank so far but have done 200ks and am about one needle width above the 3/4
tank mark.

Done nearly 10000 with a moderate weight in the back and that seems bad. I have noticed the gauge on this one doesn't move down as even as the old one so I'm going allot further in the bottom 1/4 of a
tank with the fuel light coming on after using about 72L.
