dc,
I have never used Cooper Tyres, I have used 604V Desert Duelers, D693 A/T- Bridgestones, Olympic Overlanders, currently using Dunlop Road Grippers because thats what came standard on my current 4by, the only puncture i have had was 3 weeks ago in the carpark at work, wouldnt matter what tyre it was a 5 inch nail penetrates any tyre. Have been in all types of terrain, gibber deserts, dirt tracks, Simpson Desert, beaches, sharp shaley rocks, mud, bitumen and have never had any dramas except in mud where the tread has clogged up. I think adjusting pressures to suit the terrain you are in has a bigger bearing than actual tyre brands.
Cheers Peter

DC hi, have a set of 245/70/16's on the MU for 25,000k's don a bit of everything except mud (bit had to find in C Qld) not a noise on the hiway, great in the sand. Not a sign of to much wear, Goodyear swap them around and balance them for me every 10,000k's free of charge. Just looking thru their catalogue and the 15's come in a 265/70R15 OD 751mm max load 1120kg's al the best
Bruce Looking forward to the end of June,
