Maybe they were from Armidale and not Armadale.
The EO sticker doesn't mean they are members or even visit the
forum.

Those Jackeroos must be capable off road vehicles - doesn't Champion Drive run between Railway Ave and Lake Road? Surely it doesn't reach Tonkin Highway.

I wondered about that, with ll the road works in the area. So I checked 'Whereis.com' they still have the old maps.
I stand corrected !

So does my TomTom.
It gets very worried when I turn off Tonkin into the blankness of Champion Drive on it's maps.
Thankfully it seems to understand that I am in a capable off road vehicle and doesn't scream at me for too long. By that time I've reached Lake Road and it's happy again.
If these things are so smart, how come they don't register the 'shortcuts' we make and make them readable roads for the next trip? Sort of self drawing enhancements.
Tim
