Jackie received a phone call from someone who wanted to know if there was any truth to the rumour that there is a diesel shortage in the outback at present. the person also rang the RAC, but they advised to ring us. We have not heard of any such shortage, ... so over to you guys - anyone else heard this? Doesn't seem likely...

I heard a brief mention on the radio a couple of days ago about travellers being stranded in Tom Price because there was no diesel there , or in Paraburdoo I think. I took this to be a short term delivery problem rather than an actual longer term shortage.

One of the roadhouse managers out that way was telling me that petrol shortages aren't that uncommon, he didn't say why. He also didn't mention diesel.

Michelle

It must be satisfying to have developed the credibility to warrant the RAC etc advising people to check such things with you.
Well done!
