In the light of recent posts to this
forum I know people will be as shocked, not to mention disappointed, at the sad spectacle of _total_ disregard for the law I witnessed in the southern suburbs of
Melbourne this afternoon; I saw... a woman talking on a hand-held mobile phone whilst driving!!! PD?852 you should be _ashamed_ of yourself! Consider the tiny children, pregnant women, nuns and little kittens you were putting at risk of serious injury or death!!!
What's worse people, and I know Derek will not be surprised to hear this, I strongly suspect she was _NOT_ a member of Explore Oz!
What is the world coming to? I know I can count on much support from the pious people of this worthy
forum in my condemnation of such acts.
In sadness,
Mike Harding

Mike, you are so right.
I shake my head in disgust at such behaviour.
I trust you tailgated that person to thier front door and let them know in no uncertain words about thier errors.
You need to keep up the Exploroz tradition of having a good go at any one not as perfect as the better members of this
forum, and particularly having a go at new members.
Mike, if you have not corrected that person, I am deeply disappointed in you.
You will need to be banned from this
forum for at least two weeks, and post your car keys to David to hold for such said period.
Or, at least one days flagellation, method to be decided by the
forum.
(Any one got a suggestion, whipping with a snatch strap, keel hauling through under the car 20 times with a drag chain?)
Any one who dares to contradict you obviously can not meet the required standards and be relegated to the class of 'poorer' members of this
forum, and be limited in access to the
forum, and similar punishment applied.

I sat on this
forum for 2 years as a visitor, I procrastinated about becoming a member I thought all the c**p had been finished and over with, didn't contribute just viewed threads cause didn't want anyone assuming I was a dumb blonde. Decided to become a member now not so sure. Most of the comments I have read re this thread and a prior one have been very interesting, made my night fly while hubby is at work however, I must point out that most of it is childish school yard c**p. I think its time I went bush again to let the dust in the school yard settle, when I return maybe there will be some interesting reading which is helpful not hurtful. There seems to be some growing up needed. And before people start coming back at me, it is a free country you all had your say, now I've had
mine. Don't understand how grown men can take to bait, line, hook and sinker.

Debbie you must really be blonde if you don't know why we males rise to the bait, it's like the constant urge to mate, rising to the bait is genetically encoded in us, we have no choice, we just do as the "supreme being" programmed us.....As to your assertion that we are childish well true too but we have to average it out some of us are permanently childish bougt h on by marriage and always being told what to do so we never get the chance to grow up and behave in a sensible mature, manner. It's very difficult being a male and keeping a sense of perspective after all we were created first, by the time "woman" was created many of the quirks had been ironed out....
