I have recently installed Diesel/Gas to my turbo Troopie. It now has heaps more power ,so I am enquiring about installing different ratio diffs to drop the revs and improve fuel economy even more.(10-15% better with gas) Also wondered about Limited Slip Diffs ,at same time.
Only other idea was to increase circumerence of tyres ? (now has 165/75 R16,s) tyres .

the 78 runs 4.3 ratio, the t/d runs 4.1...these are stronger, but hardly worth the exercise considering thesame can be got by fitting 315x75x16 tyres. (35's)

Keep us posted on how the Diesel/gas works out. Did you get the federal grant?

Got the Federal Grant $2000 .....and a WA state grant $1000 ! ,which was great, but still had to spend $1165 for unit and fitting,$400 exhaust mods,$300 dyno and tune(my option) ,gas intallation inspection and paper trail .....so it,s not all beer and skittles. I AM pleased with the power, but thought the economy might be better.(they say it might need a bit more fine tuning to suite my driving/100-105kmh).I,m sure larger circumerence tyres would make a big difference.
