It is an evolution.

I also have a fold up bed in the rear of the GQ which will accommodate 2 metres of stretched out body(in reality only 6'3") and it works very well for me. That way I can set the tent up for fellow travellers who are prolific snorers and I can get a good nights sleep. Being of mature age like yourself (a tad younger, though, but only a tad) I have a system whereby I don't have to get up during the night either.

I have recently done away with the roof rack and have rearranged my trailer to make for comfortable camping. Carrying less stuff now and therefor less weight.

Cheers

Hi Willem
As you get long in the tooth you try to make things easy,Pitching a tent & pulling down for a short stop over is to much like hard work . If your chasing the fish up the beach your bed is with you .
At the moment I have a full night sleep, Don't need a funnel & long plastic tube yet LOL, but it will happen in the future I guess .
I shall send for you design if you don't patent it & becomes to dear to buy.LOL
