Hello everyone, just thought I would share with you our excitement as we take delivery of a 4x2 dual cab DIESEL to morrow. It will be my first diesel vehicle & will use it for work & towing our van.
We were driving back from central western NSW yesterday in her Camry & I was dreaming about my new toy & mentioned to her that a
sign on the back of it, something like " guts & grissle" would be good just to let everyone know it was a powefull beast.
She replied to my comment by asking why I wanted a
sign on a new vehicle which would refer to the size of my stomach & my "old fellah" !! Pretty nasty I thought.

you dont have much choice you will have to leave her at home or maybe let her ride on draw bar and be the tow hitch monitor

Thanks old pop, good suggestion, but by the time she loads the van I already have enough worries about ball weight, let alone sitting her on the draw bar & adding to my worries. Plus Iam not sure if one of those reversing monitors could keep an eye on her in that position, mind you it would be worth it just to see the sheer terror on her face at cruising speed.

Trade her in mate - immediately!
Get a new or near new one thats tight as a drum, has a blemish free skin, very low mileage, no moans groans or sueaks, new shoes and has no need for a bra.
That will shut her up.

No not a Camry but one of those little cheap Taiwan imports. That way she can feel intimidated every time a 4x4 pulls up behinf her. That way, she will appreciate a good bit of Guts And Grissle. Treat em mean and keep em keen should be Barry's motto

Mine is pretty quick on keeping you on the ground too.
But I would miss her dearly if she wasn't around.
When i first read your post, I was waiting for her to say which of you was the 'guts', and the other person the 'gristle'. I don't think you gave her much choice, but she found an alternative solution, like any good female, and dropped you completely in the hole you dug for yourself. :o)) Live and learn.
Good to hear about the new vehicle. Congratulations.

Twinkles,
Sort of playing with a trip to the gulf and through to
Darwin. Maybe. Depends on work and holidays available. Maybe August?
Think it may fall through.

Barry,
I sympathise with you mate, the other day my wife was playing soccer in a womens team. After a big kick she felt a bit of a strain in her groin muscle. she said to one of the other girls " I felt a little twinge in my groin" one of her smart
a?se friends said "shouldnt call your husband a little twinge". Us husbands were standing on the side line (drinking) and all of a sudden couldnt work out why both teams were rolling around on the ground laughing their backsides off. When after the game we were informed of the cause of their mirth my mates started to call me "little twinge", bastards. (That should read ex mates)

Recon your bloody lucky that you were only verbally emasculated , little bit in today's Courier mail on page 25 , LONDON , a woman who ripped off her ex boyfriends testicle with her bare hands and tried to swallow it before spitting it out has been sent to prison , a friend handed it back to the man saying "that's yours " she was jailed for 2.5 yrs. , ,, ouch ouch ouch,

barry F, you could always put a sign on the back referring to the
suspension on your
old truck...
"SAGGY and WORN OUT, WITH A SHARP EDGE"
Of course, only you and I know its talking about your
OLD TRUCK hehehehehe
