Now of course if I remembered correctly you will see some photo's with this. The pole holder is the one MURPHY helped me in a recent post......... as for my Porta Loo that was a rushed job the other night as i'm not getting any younger the knees are no longer what they used to be, one needs a bit of comfort.

Porta Loo
A bit of ply is cut to give some support for the toilet seat and the ply is bolted to the old milk create and when not in use the lid is held in place by a strap and velco. The base is a old milk create. I have cut another peice of ply which sits inside so when i travel I can put my gas bottle (for cooking) metho, toilet rolls, bag of lime and lighter and what ever else I feel like maybe a nice magazine :).

Cost: maybe $10.00 as I had everything apart from the seat.

Tent pole holder

150 mm dia PVC tube cut to allow 1.8 m poles I have capped on end which is strengthened by 10mm think old cutting board and then some padding this is to stop (I hope) poles going throught the end. The other end is a screwed cap and I have put a chain in an effort I don't leave it behind (its my aging thing :) ). This end is also having the 10 mm cutting board and padding. I plan to put poles in and shove some old rags in to help prevent the pols bouncing.

The holder is held in place by 3 supports (padded) which were (painfully installed) using bolts to the tray supports. I installed some padding where the PVC pipe is likely to rub on the tray supports. The First support you may see in the photo is a shaped peice of cutting board and this I feel is much better than the padding. But before i fix the other two I need a holidey :). I have used nylec nuts, I would have liked to use lock tight BUT as the way my day was going MURPHY would have had me stuck to the ute lol so hoping MURPHY does not visit me, about that bit, out bush somewhere.

Cost: Not real sure about $60.00 and lots of blood and sanity.

Now for the moment of truth........ the photo's

Brian,
Not sure what you've got to line the thunderbox with? We bought a pack of 200 old fashioned checkout bags from a paper bag shop ($70). Size was about 170x320x570 - just undo the bottom of the bag, and tape around the top with packing tape, and bury the lot in the hole when used (usually with a shovel of coals).

Alternative is to buy the IKEA checkout paper bags for 20c each - they are a bit bigger. We used to use the 20kg flour bags, but it got harder to get them because my kids stopped working in a bakery.

I'm sure that if I don't recognize the vehicle on the track, I'll recognize the thunder box :)))))

So you can see the photos? cause I cannot? .................. OH GOD they messing with my mind lol.

Footy if you can see the thunder box ............ I'll need to move further off the road lol. I'm a shy fella.

As for the lining was just going to use newspaper and tape to the timber lid when finish, down the hole with the other workings.
