We always do a local

Its more really sight seeing stuff and you have to pick the times
From look of camera's early this saturday morning may be time to go.

I believe you wanted one of these some time ago Truckster.
You have my permission to down load the ZD30 piston off my profile and use it as you wish.
Enjoy.

3 runs planned for us this year but may still be a little premature for a challenging snow trip as there hasn't been a good dump of snow down low yet. Best indicator is the number of lifts running on Buller. Over 20 & you're gaurenteed of some good fun on Skene.
Should be great this weekend to take the kids up though.
Cheers Craig...........

G'day Crackles,
Just had a thought. would you be from Benalla and your surname starts with Chee----. You might remember me if you think of CANT hooks and track
clearing last year.
We have made 2 cant hooks since and they are hum-dingers.
I'm in TLC. Take a look at my Email.
Were you at Mollyullah a couple of weeks back at the bush dance ?
Cheers

Few blokes went up Skene 2 weekends ago, and it was "very patchy, good for a snowman, and few snowballs", but that was pretty much it.

Trucker, there's been a few more snow showers this week so should be better than a fortnight ago but with only 10 lifts going on Buller suggests it wont be far down the road or very deep yet. The lower than past years temparatures are encouraging though for a big dump of snow in the next few weeks :-)
Harry yes we were over at Molyulah for the TLC's Fire working bee dance. Not a bad night & I believe there is talk of another. If so let us know early & we can advertise it around a bit more & make it a big show. Unfortunately our local club had a drive on the next day so not may could come. Glad the Cant hooks turned out. Certainly a handy old item when
clearing large numbers of trees & faster than a winch too.
Cheers Craig..........

Crackles,
Well there you go mate, we were at the same place and didn't know it, wont let that happen again.
Will keep in touch on the next Mollyullah bush dance and it was announced at the last meet that there will be dance sessions during the day, a spit roast and dancing into the wee night hours and no fences.
Ave a good 1
