Notice - No Petrol at Papunya or Kintore in NT

As of Tuesday 6/5/3 there is no leaded or unleaded and at this stage avgas in Papunya for absolutely anyone, Kintore has already done the same, pretty sure no avgas either.

Hi Slammin, I suppose thats one more reason in a long list, to spring for the extra cost and get a DIESEL. Once you go 'black', you'll never go back. Michael

This is no real secret, the Community Councils have been concerned for a long time about petrol sniffing & no doubt have decided that the lives of their kids over rules commercial interests.

From my Central Australian sources: expect to see a lot more of this type of thing in other areas.

There was an Aboriginal kid near where I live badly burnt the other day sniffing petrol & smoking at the same time, he was seven.

Sad, sad :-(
