We left from
Newcastle and went up through back,
Roma etc.....your time period should be definitely long enough....was talking to some blokes in
Weipa and they had come up through
Normanton and they said road was very bad,,,heavily rutted....but we were surprised what only a couple of weeks did to road and
creek and river conditions,,,,big creeks were only puddles on our way back down...any suggestions''''''wellllllll....at risk of being howled down....Archer River Hamburger at eight bucks was a big let down...and take your own grog to Punsand
