Is Copper Hills Still Open

Can anyone please advise if the
Copper Hill Station
camp area is still open and available. It is adjacent
Cadney Park, North of
Coober Pedy. Have stayed there in the past but it's future became clouded a few years ago.

For what it is worth, last September there was a
sign out the front - place was closed. Hugh and Laurel Frahn established the place ages back but they got quite crumbly and retired to the south - guess the new people struggled to make a quid - Hugh didn't expect much - lovely place, but it appeared a 'shoe-string' operation to me back in 2000 - Hugh was doing a mail run as
well, back then.

I was there in 2002 and the caetaker managers have now moved on. Future looked bleak then.

Last time we went thru
Cadney Park- we were told the Cops were still looking for the guy fom Copper Hills !! I did some brochures and
signage for him about4 yrs ago (and got paid).
Don't know what the current situation is.

Thanks ragbutt, sorry but lost home net for a few days hence the delay. I was asking for our local AMP agent who is heading for Alice in a couple of days and was going to take 3 days to get there.
