Can anyone help us please? Wanting to put our newly bought tv aerial (EasyTune Remote Controlled TV Antenna) onto the side of our caravan Windsor Rapid Poptop. We need to know the best spot in regards to the sub frame under the caravan skin to screw the mounting brackets to without screwing into wiring or into fresh air. Has anyone done this before please.

Thank you in anticipation.

if you go to their web page, there is a photo of a van and the antenna. if you stay at about 0- 60mm from the top edge you will have frame.

Sallym
After you have installed the aerial please let us know your results on it's performance as I am interested in the results.
Was planning on getting one but have had some negative info. Please advise.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.

Hi Dodg

Just tested everything, thanks ExplorOz Members, special thanks to Shane. Put the bracket on as suggested Friday night, connection wire on today and fitted the actual aerial. Did not extend the aerial pole or the aerial's metal ears and we actually got a very viewable picture no trouble at all (here in Brisbane) which was better than we thought it would be. Will report back when we go away in three or so weeks time. Easy set up and here in our back yard the tv picture is great (tv used is a Palsonic 15" DVD 12V).

Thanks again, and now I know about ExplorOz will join us up. Have not been anywhere in our new caravan yet, just need to find the perfect spot close to Brisbane to try it out.
Regards Sally
