nissan engines zd30 2000 model

I have a 2000 model patrol serviced every 4500kms and the best oils all around and filters 4500kms also penzoil or penrite. whatever i can get my hands on at the time. Fith gear let go at around 1000 kms but dont tow anything.

The turbo blowing at around 115000kms and now the injector pump and the third piston letting go all due to nissan not fully checking the problem the first time now need to get the engine fully rebuilt i think half of the people that work at nissan are just rookies and just bluff their way through the job and cant read their computer properly.

All they seem to do is tell you what you wanna hear but not the proper answer any how see how it goes after the rebuild if not happy will buy one of the new toyotas at least they have got a better name and dont treat you like s..it

Hi muckrunner sorry about your bad run with the patrol, but if I can just suggest that you also replace the air flow meter, it is the cause of the engine failing.

I have had it replaced at around 90 000kms and still didnt do much the gear box still leaks after replacing it and along with many other problems that just seem to pop up i havnt had my car now for 2 to 3 months
