LCOOL article on EGR

My 79series 1HD-FTE engine was underperforming a bit. I cleaned all that carbon out of the intake, and doctored the EGR, and it goes like new again. Starts first click, fuel consumption better, and sounds sweet. That was almost 2 years ago. From what I've been told, theres no negatives to doing this.

I left the pipe alone. Just did what was suggested in the LCOOL article - block off the vacuum where they tell you to - I used a tight fitting nail, and I also drilled a fine hole in the 3-way connecter nearest the EGR, to ensure that there was no vacuum getting thru to the EGR.
