Outnabout David (SA)
Just wondering about fitting Lightforce 240 XGT's to an ARB winch bar on an 80 Series cruiser. I realise they won't fit to the original spot brackets and don't mind having to fabricate new mounts. It is more of a case of whether they would protrude too far.
I know Blitzes will fit but like the look of the XGT'S better.
I just don't want to get it wrong if I chose the wrong lights again.

I have a hilux and had to modify the top centre cross bar to fit hella 4000's. They dont protrude at all. Ive been down too many tracks and had to do a u turn for one reason or another and most times i had to push over sum trees and shrubs to do a 3 point turn. If the spotties protruded i would have either broken something or moved the lights.

David,
XGT's should fit...You just have to drill new holes for them
I got them fited with the ARB sahara bullbar on the Prado.
Here is the link on how to mount them on 90 series (This is for blitz I think)....

You can also take the base mounts off the lights and reverse them. I did this to mount
mine on the Nissan factory steel bar on the GU. Didn't have to drill any extra holes or anything. Fit perfectly with room to spare.

David, I have XGT's fitted on an ARB winch bar on the Troopy.
They bolt straight on, do protrude out a tad -75mm or so- but looking at your profile not much more than the IPF lights you have at the moment...XGT's are a bit higher tho'.
One thing I have found out, I have to move the light to one side in order to
use a high-lift jack on the bull bar mounts...bummer
Cheers
Michael
