Boo
Afternoon all..
Just wondering if anyone could tell me where to get hold of a cheap charger to suite a Telit 550 sat phone.
Thanks,
Boo

Boo if you're in
Perth, Outbacker Communications . If not Yellow or White Business Pages under Sat Phones.
Parts for the Telit 550 are damned expensive a spare battery I think was over $200 and to do a car kit was going to be in excess of $1200. I just use the car charger.
Parts BTW are a bit hard to come by.

Thanks for that..
Yeh I discovered the new parts are rather expensive, but I only want to charge up the two batteries so I can test them so I didnt want to spend a fortune on leads...
Thanks, Boo.

Boo,
do you mean a 240Volt or 12 volt charger.
if you have a 240 volt jobbie, just get a Jayco invertor in a can and for $50 you can use the 240v one in the vehicle . no need for 12 voly charger.
cheers
Howard

Thanks, Howard.
I have two of these phones second hand but neither has any charger and I would like to charge them up to test the phones.
Thanks, Boo.
