G'day Carl,wife & i were there at
easter this yr. It was sort of dry but green as they had rain & flood through twice i think it was, this year. The road in from
Eulo was corrogated but ok.The fresh
water lake was all but dried up & the
salt lake had about 40 percent
water. The river( can't remember the name) had a fare bit of
water in it also.It was a nice place to drive around. Was also three camps along the river banks.Oh did i mention flies,No,
well there were lots of them, not as bad as some
places but bad enough to sit in the car so we could eat lunch without a mouthfull of flies. Would go again though when the lake are full again.
Cheers Bob.

Hi Carl.
We have a small group travelling there on Sat 30/6. When did you plan to go there?
We will be back home in 2 weeks & will let you know what the place is like.
Regards.
Vince

Hi Carl
We were there 2 or 3 years ago, and also nearly went there two weeks ago. At that point, roads had been closed because they had had a heap of rain, but were open and pretty ok for driving according to the policeman at
Wanaaring.
From 3 years ago, the
park is great after rain - the lakes were great and plenty of birds and the
camp ground, river etc worth going for. Only reason we did not go this month was we ran out of time - we thought it would be good, but from
Wanaaring headed out to
Bourke instead.
I'd go - but the flies will be there!
Max
