Can anyone tell me how the Kaymar telescopic light fits onto the spare wheel carrier and will it fit onto a TJM spare wheel carrier? I am wondering if it is a simple bolt on or will it need modifying?

I'd love the know the answer to this also. I've just fitted a TJM rear wheel carrier, and a telescopic light is my next toy.

It slides into piece of 25mm RHS welded alongside the gooseneck bit of the wheelcarrier.
I'd post a pic if I could work out how to.

This Picture posting has got whisker on it.
I'll leave the images on the rig page as I suspect they'll disappear from the post if I remove them.

Hope this is what you were looking for Mike.

That is perfect, I am sure I can weld something similar onto the TJM carrier. Thanks for going to the effort for me.

Mike
My Karmar light has the 1" square section upright. This slides into 2 bits of plate with 1" square holes cut out, that are welded to the upright section of the wheel carrier, one right near the bottom, the other about 6" higher. The top one has a grub screw to hold the light in place. Has not come loose or moved over some pretty rough tracks, but I must admit the grub screw is one of the things I religeously check on any stop.
Don't know the TJM carrier, so don't know if it would fit.
Cheers

Thanks, Tuck01, I will think about that one, but it may be harder to fabricate for me as I am a 'back-yarder' and I can't drill square holes LOL.
Mike.
