I found it was scarier when my boys got their licences and went out without me in the car. It certainly proved the toughness of our Suby wagon that we had at the time.

Yes agree, very scarey moment to see your pride and joy going off down the road !!!
I guess we are most worried they may do what we did to our ol man's car when he wasnt around
Like being worried that our daughters arent doing the things we did when she starts going out hahahaha
Cheers Pesty

Daughter drove me to
Melbourne yesterday. 250k.. It's 5 years since I taught her to drive.
Yesterday was the first day that I wasn't checking everything she did and sitting on the edge of my
seat.
She's a good driver... don't get me wrong. Just a Dad-daughter thing....
I still sit on the edge of my
seat when my son [taught him 7 years ago] drives!

Hi Eric
I survived driving lessons with 6 teenagers (4 of
mine and a couple of strays). Worry is worse when they are out on their own the first few times. Really, the sooner they have an accident, the better - because it will teach them the lesson all your words could not, and the sooner this happens, this milder the damage will be (to them and car). Good luck!

Well I made it back and KC went a lot better than I thought.
Only 49.5 hours of lessons to go.
All the best
