hi all, i have tried looking through the
forum, i was wondering what the best way is to look after a snatch strap? i have been using
mine a fair bit lately in mud and dirt, i am presently just throwing them in the back of the car and forgetting about them till next time, is that ok or should i be doing something else.
thanks in advance , brogs

Wait until SWMBO has gone out, stick the strap in an old pillow case and pop it in the washing machine on a quick wash. It should be finished before she returns.

Why dirty a pillow case? I just chuck it straight in the machine.
They should be cleaned as the grit that gets worked into the strap can damage the fibres as they move against each other after a while

Good one navaraman. I have been washing
mine by hand. Haven't been game to put it in the washing machine.
Brogs, make sure it is properly dry after the wash. Roll it up and store in a bag that breathes. If one didn't come with the strap, that might be where the old pillow case comes in.

Wash it, dry it, store it in a dark, dry place.

Don't forget to get the middle and roll it up. Happens in half the time then.. ;)))))
