All these technical questions...lol

Had to go outside and have a look as it has never crossed my mind to check the tyre pressure. I pump it not too hard but so that it is firm. This is on a trailer. I suspect with heavier towball weight you may have to increase the pressure

Anyway, it had 15psi in it

Cheers

I got sick of my inflatable tyre always being flacid (bit like me these days), so I ditched it in favour of a solid one (it is on permanent viagra!!!). Too easy!!!!

I agree, solid rubber is the way to go as it never goes down on you ;)

yeah but what about on beach sand? ha ha. (I read where the 14 yearolds reckon LOL is for kids.)

I suppose moving the thing is the test but I suspect the viagra tyres do the job on the soft stuff. But then I never tried viagra. Not yet anyway.

I replaced my solid small diameter wheel with a larger pnematic one. It is much nicer to move around and deals with gravel wet grass and sand better.
My caravan has a load of only 100kg on the ball and 15-20psi would be enough.
Obviously it rolls nicer on hard surfaces if it retains a full round shape.
A 250kg ball load (bigger van ) might need a bit more but it should have a guide written on the rubber. Its similar to a good brickies wheelbarrow tyre.
