Guys,
Anyone been into the valley lately? - specifically interested in the crossing at Dry
Creek (start of Merricumbene), and the ability to get a couple of dirt bikes across... (normally not a problem, but we've had 'some' rain lately)..

G'day Ivan, you may be able to get Fergus's ph number off the Araluen pub. Fergus lives just up from the crossing, and is the guy who collects the
camping fees.Might be worth a try.

We were at the Dry Ck crossing last weekend, hoping to go up Mericumbene and have a look at Alpine. The river was up pretty high and flowing fast - common sense prevailed, we had lunch there and went home. A couple of others had a look at it and didn't cross either.
We have had a bit of rain in the last week so it probably is still up.
