Hi All,
I was wondering if it's worth replacing the globes in my spotlights with the Xenon (blue) globes, which are meant to produce a better quality of light.
Has anyone run both globes and if so how do the Xenon globes compare?
Regards, Will.

If your talking about the cheap pretend xenon globes, they are crap crap crap.
If you are talking the good ones........not cheap...... yeah great!
Try using the search function at the top of this page, it has been discussed a lot lately.
Cheers,
MUZZ

Waspie,
I reckon your lights are
well set to identify drunks.
Why change?

Replaced the globes in our 93 GQ with the cheaper xenon globes. Dont really think they are any better, just a different coloured light. Perhaps the more expensive ones are much better.

Don't go " too blue " mate, or you will have trouble seeing stuff on bitumen, as I found out.
I use Phillips, H4 Blue Vision + 55/60 watt ,,and they are very good for my application, as I do a lot of night driving, and put 100 watt H3,, BV + in my spotties
The first set lasted 3 years, so I have no complaints, except thay are a little pricey, but look at the lifespan, and they are
well worth it.
Cheers
Bucky
