Any one had any experince in running the Mickey Thompson FC-II in the 268x75x16 size looking to run them on the new track GMC as an E rated tyre is called for and BFG do not do one. The E rated has a cold tyre persure of 80psi and looks like a bit between a BFG A/T and M/T
Any Feed back would be a help

Understand Mickey Thompson are a Cooper carcase with a different tread pattern.

This may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on where you sit in relation to Cooper.
If you do a forum search on Cooper you should get enough reading material for a week at least.

I should add, I looked at these for my F250 because of the load rating. I ended up with Good Year Silent Armour and am very happy with them.

Your import idea is interesting.
I'd be keen to hear how the $$$ stack up.

Hi

Not sure about this E rating but i run FC-II 265X75X16 on my Troopy and have done lots of trip including Simpson Desert and Central Australia in May and i have found them to be very good they do most things well and i would put them on again when they wear out i use them as a mate has used them on his 100 series for 4 years and has had a good run out of them but tyres are funny things some people like a certain brand and some dont i have never used Coopers myself but know people who have and never will again one friend on a trip to Central OZ did 9000kms towing a trailer and had to replace the rear tyres they were stuffed chipping was the main problem as well as trying to keep air in them well that my 2 cents worth

What psi do you run for normal travel the E rated go to 80psi and the D rated go to 65psi cold pressure.
