hmmm. I know I just had a recall on my 1999 100 Series ... retaining bolts for the brakes as I recall. A recall for an 8-year
old car - that seems pretty impressive to me.
I wonder how long since Nissan did a recall back that far.
My perception of Nissan is that they bury their head in the sand about significant issues and perhaps are less likely to recall something unless forced to, but who knows?
Cheers
Andrew.

Those 2nd, 3rd and 4th images explained everything so clearly....without them, the 1st image would be too hard to understand. :-)

I've just had a brake recall on my 1999 LC100 and that's the second or third (can't be bothered going out to the car to check the history on the inside of the door jamb) recall I've had. Just happy that someone cares enough to let me know there could be a problem. Another happy three Toyota vehicle owner!

Evidence of Stockholme Syndrome in these few replies?
The trend to reducing quality is evident, but they're all glad they've got one.
There goes the campfire bull bleep chat about "I bought my Toota because of the reliability - it has cost more, has less features than others costing less, has higher resale value (and much higher service costs)"
On checking my spelling, I noticed a slip with the spelling of toyota, but I kinda like the result so I'll leave it....he he
