Hello all, Could someone perhaps help me please to get out of a problem that I must of somehow unknowingly caused.
It used to be that when I clicked onto a thread in the forum that it opened up straight away. Now when I click on a thread, a smaller "window" of exploreoz home page appears & I have to then click onto the "enlarge" window in order to read the thread?
Also it used to be that after viewing as many threads as I wanted all I had to do was click the red cross up the top to exit the forum. Now If I open up for example six threads I have to exit each one seperatley to exit the system?
Some help to get back to what it used to do would be great.

Barry,

You have enabled Open Thread in New window and the current size of your new window is small. If you want to open up each thread in a new window this is fine however when you open the next one instead of clicking on the Maximise button grab the sides of the window and make it bigger, when as you want it close the window and all browser windows and then start again and it should be fine.

If you want to open up the windows in the same window turn off the check box in the forum index page called - Open threads in New Window.

If you turn off the Open Threads in New Window option the system will open the thread in the same window as you are viewing so there will only be one ExplorOz page opened at a time.

The Open Threads in New Window option allow people to click on say 10 threads and open 10 windows - you can then read each and close the window when you have read replied or done whatever you wish in the thread. This way you know you have read when you wanted when all the windows are closed.

I hope this makes sense. I am writing in techo speak which is usually quick and difficult to understand - I am on a few projects at a time - sorry.

Kev, you snuck in on me, I was watching for your response on another thread. Cheeky & underhand but typical of what you would expect from a person with no loyalty. Got to sign off now, The boss is getting annoyed with me & this computer, said I had a choice, her or exploreoz. I told her I would let her know by Sunday.
Anyway, to the dinner table, TV & watch the maroons get their arse smacked.
Cheers
