A little while back on another thread (45564) I got into a conversation with Uncle about Nulon Injector Cleaner.
I am now on my fourth
tank of diesel since then and using the treament.
I have found that
1 There is definitely much less smoke
2There has been an increase in power
3 the motor revs more freely.
I noticed the free-er revving the other day when i was in 3rd gear and accelerating from a set of lights up a slight incline. This engine would previously never get past 3000 rpm in 3rd. I thought it must have been limited to that and got used to that as my maximum. on this occasion i noticed it going slightly past 3000 and thought i would push it a bit. It went straight up to 4000 before i chickened out and changed up. I think i was doing about 90 kph, it was a 90kph zone btw....
I don't normally drive it this hard but as this was a new thing i was curious to see what would happen. I can only put it down to the additive as i haven't done anything else to the car.
So for $11 or 12 you get three tanks treatment which for the improvement i have seen is money
well spent.
One thing occurred to me though, does this stuff affect the oil quality due to blow-by?

Hi there Waynepd,
good to hear things have gone
well for you too. Since we last spoke we have added 2.5 inch exhaust and some Pacemakers, now towing the camper over same distance /terrain/route getting 14.5l/100 whereas last trip was 16.5l/100, reving much easier, breathing easier as
well.Cheers Unc.

Hey Uncle,
I may look at the exhaust option when the muffler gives up the ghost.
Haven't had a chance to compare fuel usage yet.....
Ummmm pacemakers?
