Good evening peoples,

Just got back from the National Warraweena meeting.
Big thank you to Willem, Judith, George and everyone that was involved in the
organisation, especially to Stony and Gina for their hospitality.

Marc, my son and myself arrived late Thursday night and was made extra welcome by all the other early arrivals.

A good trek on Friday and Saturday, mucho drinkies and chat afterwards......and I can now put faces to a lot of names.

Tonight, as I send this, there is an 'awards night' and I use the term very loosely.....I will expect many posts from the likes of Roachie/Des/Lucy/Pesty et al...
but I will not steal their thunder, and I dare say that the truth will not stand in the
way of a good story... lol lol.

Suffice to say we had a very good time and look forward to the next one..............
Thank again guys.

Cheers
Michael

Lance, quite a few members from Vic were in attendance. So you were well represented.

We have put our name down for next year, and I am not fussed where it is..:))

Just a few pastings including mine that will come no doubt.

Des Lexic thought his sump oil was good enough to use in Roachie's Chevissan for backup purposes you understand.

Annette Roach is going to post a report tonight I understand, but the event with the dance and bbq raised over $1200 for local outback education projects.

Good to meet you too Michael.

Never fear.....it will be here in due course; with all the hoary details!!!!

G'day mate, may give you a call in the next day or so as am in PA now awaiting the repair. The guy with the dolly found out he had a broken spring and flat tyre when he got to Warraweena yesterday. He turned around and went back and was supposed to collect at 5pm today Tuesday. Will see, but expect it in town tonight!!

It must have been a good weekend and everyone must be tired as I past about thirty 4WD's Sunday afternoon that were heading north towards Marree and not one person waved!

Nobody from exploroz headed north yesterday. I left this morning, and the couple that had left were heading south.

Yep we were southbound......and waved to most.
But you are right Pom, the majority of those heading north were probably still in work mode:)))

It was damn hard work by all the Nissan owners making those Yotas look competitive. Great time had by all.

And you still couldn't cut the mustard Brew. LOL
Yota suffered a flatty, Nissan at least one and a spat Diff.
Was good to catch up with everyone again.

Hey Des,

Quite "convenient" that you omitted to mention the fact that your beloved 50 series needed 3 attempts to get up a little mound that the rest of us (including Kenny in his stock Bravo and Blaze in his much-maligned Challenger) managed to get up at first attempt.......hahahahaha
