Could anyone currently running a 100 Series 4.7 Lt V8 on LPG please send me feedback on performance?
What is your consumption?
How does it perform in comparison the petrol?
Are you towing?
What is your
tank range?
Looking forward to some feedback.

Hi Nigel & Lyn,
How does it perform in comparison the petrol?
Absolutely no difference. Unless you looked at the gauge you couldn't tell if it was on gas or petrol.
Are you towing?
Yes..sometimes..have 6mtr Quintrex boat..all up approx. 1.2t. So not too heavy.
What is your
tank range?
Around town approx 430kms (I do a lot of very short distance city driving..not ideal for consumption) from 92ltr
tank..never let it go right down and approx. 485kms on trip with gear packed. I have some extra weight due to bull bar, winch, duel battery, drawers and tow bar etc.
Looking forward to some feedback.
Obviously depends on what type of system you get installed.
I have a sequential vapour injection system to which I can not fault.
Just recently had a Safari
snorkel installed and I think it even runs a little smoother but haven't had it on long enough to check consumption figures.
If you would like further info feel to ask.
Regards
Craig

Thanks Craig,
We appreciate you taking the time to reply to our post.
It seems like you get similar performance to running on petrol. Do you have any issues running on gas in cold weather?
Do you know if there are any restrictions on the quantity of gas you can carry.
I am considering doing ute conversion on the cruiser which would allow me the carry extra cylinders.
Thanks again for your feedback. Keep on cruising

Hi,
No, I haven't had any issues with cold weather starts.
I have
mine programmed so that it always starts on petrol and won't change to gas until the combination of 60 degrees
water temperature and 1500 revs is reached.
In that way it is no different to straight petrol models.

Craig
