Hi Paul d

Check the kickdown cable adjustment
make sure its not broken if not broken increase line pressure will raise the the shift points of trans
this cable controls line pressure in gear box

Hi paul d
sorry about the delay in getting back to you
the kickdown cable is adjusted at the throttle linkages just adjust about 15mm at a go and check it out you need to pull outer cable back to increase line pressure

hope this helps
