I looked through the old threads and noticed that WA
Park passes were increased last year. However, the links to the parks on the net seem to indicate old prices.
We will be heading to WA next month and are looking at the Holiday pass. ExplorOz have it priced at $35. The parks site has it at $22.
Does anyone know what the current prices should be?

Hi Zebra400,
I do not know where you got your info. from but on checking the WA Govt site I copied the following :
Holiday
Park Pass - This pass entitles unlimited entry to all parks for a four week period
Fees: $35/vehicle (up to 8 people)
Annual All Parks Pass - This pass entitles you to visit any
park throughout Western Australia as many times as you wish for a period of 12 months.
Fees: $75/vehicle (up to 8 people)
So ExporOz is correct.

So can I assume the Western Australia Flora & Fauna site is out of date?

We leave on 11 August, so we have about 4 weeks to organise the pass. If we order it through ExplorOz, do you know if they date it from the date of order or can you stipulate the start date?

Hi Zebra400,
You can purchase the WA parks pass from any Dept of Environment and Conservation office in WA. All it needs is a bit of detail, Name, Address, Vehicle Reg etc. You pays your money and you gets your sticker, takes about 10 minutes.
You can also get lots of good information about Nat Parks etc,
well worth a visit.
Department of Environment and Conservation website is
www.calm.wa.gov.au
Go to 'Parks and
Recreation' and scroll down to find the information re Passes etc

Hi Disco
The calm site link site was down most of yesterday morning so I tried other sites. The WA Flora & Fauna site seems to be out of date with its prices.
The calm site link allows for you to enter your rego & pass start date. However this info is not requested by ExplorOz so I assume they must either date it from the date of issue or allow you to enter the details on the pass when you receive it.

Afternoon,
When I checked a couple weeks ago 4 weeks was $35. We are doing the west-east-tassie road trip at Christmas.
CALM outdoor centres are the ones to ask, but are local one is only opened Wednesday to Friday.
Stamp duty on caravans was abolished at the last state budget, but everything else was increased
Debbie < who took delivery of my stamp duty free Windsor Rapid for said trip, but still awaiting delivery of the new Pathfinder....bloody September.

Most of my life back when our state was not wealthy as it is now, I visited a popular
park in WA. Now they pay someone to collect money to visit something we already own. If things are that bad they need the little bit of money left over from the ticket collecters wages then they dont need my money. Plenty of other
places to vist before the gestapo find out about them.
