just to let others on the road to know I am now in Darwin and will be here till next M onday so maybe I might catch up with a member or two. Am staying at Lee Point c/park.Had three great days pig shooting on a cattle station here in the Territory. Got 14 pigs in 3 days,will be cooking a pig curry tonight.From here Iwill be going across the Gulf heading to Cpe York and hope to also get in some fishing on the way.Cheers to all and hope to cross paths somewhere.

The pig shooting sounds good, was that an organised tour or did you have a property organised yourself? What were you shooting with?

No it was not an organised tour, I am lucky t o have permission to shoot on about 1 million acres here in the territory and am also looking forward to shooting on a large property near Archer river on the way up to the Cape.Iuse a 243 rifle with 95 grain ammo. but still need a couple shots on the bigger pigs.Wil be leaving Darwin on Monday.

Mostly used 12 gauge solids in NZ but probably much closer than in NT? only good really with a proper pump or semi-auto slug gun though.

Yes the Lee Point c/park is fine.Very close to the large Casuarina shopping center and only about 18 kms. from town.
