OT but AFAIK & IMHO many abbreviations used R not in index, IOW, it is sometimes difficult to understand a post or a response to the post, so DTRT & explain youself if the abbreviation you use is not in the index thingo!! FCOTW (fair crack of the whip)
Just my POV mind you & no offence, will be AFK for a while, but will be BBIAB or maybe BBL.
G2G for now, TMI for this old fellah, so i TTYL. TTFN
Sorry people, couldn't help myself. WGBIMK (will get back in my kennel) & behave for a while!!

after watching this
forum for over 12 months I am still at a loss to understand LOL and many other in house abreviations. . Why don't the
forum moderators step in and clarify? As a new subscriber it still looks like to me that it is a "closed House" with many negative comments from old time contributors who seem to resent some new blood. Come on newbees stand up and be noticed. My impression is that this
forum is supposed to be helpful and positive for all who have 4*4 and outback experiences at heart. Hang in Barry F ... hope you can help at least both of us understand the "in house" lingo.

Graham
Immediately below the last entry in a thread are 5 boxes.
One of these is 'Abbreviations'.
Now you will understand some of the things that are said, but I'm sure there are other new ones that people dream up.

Graham,
If you want some extra abreviations added send some feedback and they will add to the current list.
Cheers Kev

Graham,
Never be afraid to ask a question here. Even amongst all the dribbling that goes on, questions do get answered.

Is it so hard...?
Just type them into Google - every one, except IOW which took two attempts, came up on the first try.
