We have a Windsor Rapid which has a SHURflo
water pump located under the
seat and screwed to the floor. Pump has rubber feet. Trouble is the B thing is very noisy and we are reluctant to use it, at night, if someone is beside us. I have made a wooden box which I stuffed with foam to try and quieten it down but it made little difference. Any
bright minds out there with any suggestions. We checked with dealer about the noise level and were told it was normal, and have asked one other van owner about his pump and he said his was the same . HELP PLEASE. We use the van
water for drinking, no fluoride.

had the same problem with
mine, replaced it with the flojet 35psi /12ltsmin. quiet as. if you have a look at the pump it only has about a 6 or 8 mm hole in fittings for hoses. there to small. the other pump has about 13mm outlets.

We have one on our camper trailer - as you say noisy as hell - the "lady of the expedition" hates it (so I use it all the time)...... but as you say, when parked 'cheek by jowl' with other campers its hardly fair - we use the
hand pump then. Was going to try and quieten ours but its in an incredibly awkward place - if it fails, it'll be a bugger of a job to get to it. Too hard basket here........
