Hi All,
My EGT/pyro arrived today from thermoguard, and fitted it to the GU.
Great lil unit, very accurate, and easy to install, sweet fit.
Max EGT 538, so could give it more fuel, but i won't.
Everything else with the new turbo is brilliant.
The service from IAN at thermoguard was fantastic. Top quality gear and service.

I also fitted a TrackMaster roofrack today. Nice bit of gear.
Q: Does anyone know the roof load limit of the GU3??

Thanks guys
Wayne-o

Sounds like you have it set just about right with those temps, when loaded and working hard it will climb a bit more than the the 538 you have seen. Mine will get up to 580 but that is when I start backing off to help cool things down. I have only ever got this hot when towing and climbing hard.

Roof load limit if same as GU1 is 200kg.

Cheers, Trevor.

thanks trev,
yeah, the truck is fantastic now. So much nicer to drive.
I have a no muffler pipe on its way from BD exhausts to replace the mufflered one, so should sound the part soon. The original BD one is a bit quiet.

Dont think id ever put 200kg on the roof but good to know.
Thanks pal

Hi pt_nomad,

As your post ended-up as a Follow-up to mine: I believe Wayne installed his sensor post-turbo. He has a Beaudesert Exhausts system with a 1/4" BSP fitting already in it and I'm pretty sure he used that.
